My family attended the advance screening of The Adventures of TinTin last weekend and we absolutely loved it! This movie is based on the series of books The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé and the film is produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy.
My husband has several TinTin books tucked safely away in his toy collection; when he found out we were going to attend the movie screening, he dug out the books for the kids to read. My youngest daughter in particular was immediately captivated by the exciting adventures of TinTin and his dog Snowy. For days before the screening all she could talk about was TinTin, TinTin, TINTIN!
The movie was a fast paced ride full of the twists and turns that only Spielberg can deliver with such excitement and flair! One thing that my husband and I noticed was the amazing attention to detail that every scene in the film had; every car was of the right time period... every hair on the characters heads appeared real. We were absolutely awestruck at the quality of this film!
When two adults, a middle schooler and two elementary aged children can all come out of a theater and say "that was a great movie!" you know you have a winner!
My family highly recommends The Adventures of TinTin!
