Gevalia Kaffe - Now Available at Safeway Stores!

Gevalia Kaffe, Sweden's preferred brand of coffee used to be available online only; now Gevalia is now offering its rich, luxurious U.S. coffee in supermarket aisles nationwide in 10 varieties, including roast and ground, whole bean, flavored and decaffeinated varieties.  Safeway stores is the first to launch Gevalia Kaffe, so be sure to look for it there!
My husband and I had the pleasure of sampling the Gevalia Kaffe House Blend and French Roast varieties. We found the House Blend to have a smooth rich flavor; it is the perfect start to a busy weekday morning.  The French Roast is also wonderfully rich, with a bit more of an intense flavor profile; we prefer this on lazy weekend mornings.  Next I would like to try the Chocolate Mocha flavor... YUM!

Look for these 10 Gevalia Kaffe Varieties at your local Safeway retailer:

Traditional Roast (ground and whole bean), House Blend, House Blend Decaf, French Roast (ground and whole bean), Colombia, Espresso Roast, Vanilla and Chocolate Mocha.

Do you drink Gevalia Kaffe?  If so, I would love to hear from you; feel free to leave me comment sharing which of the Gevalia Kaffe varieties are you most looking forward to picking up at Safeway to try.

  1. Just yesterday my SIL and I were talking about how it would be nice if Gevalia was available in store locally. Oddly enough this afternoon while in Safeway, there it was on the shelf. In limited varieties, but there all the same.

That's how I happened on to this blog, by doing a search about Gevalia in relation to Safeway.

I didn't buy any beans because I had purchased 2 lbs yesterday from a a local vendor. Plus, I was disappointed that the only decaf blend available is the house, and since we drink 1/4 and 1/2 cafe, though we do mix blends together, we oftentimes prefer one variety of bean.

I've had opportunity to drink Gevalia in the past, and I do find it to be a superior coffee.

My SIL and BIL used to 'subscribe' by mail, and even though I've thought about it from time to time, the price of postage is a bit too steep.

I'm happy to read that Gevalia believes in sustainability, but along with that, I wish they would offer some organic blends for those of us who prefer to go the extra mile.

I've had the French Roast, and the Breakfast Blend, both extremely good. I prefer darker roasts. I've never cared for flavored coffee's. I prefer to do the flavoring myself if at all. lol

Had trouble posting this due to the 'double word' robot check.
